WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT LENZ FIELD IN 2008:
Tom,
My son plays for the Quad City Redbirds 10U team and we were fortunate enough to play on your field this afternoon. Your facility and the hospitality of your coaches and parents were 2nd to none. Even though the weather failed to cooperate, we had a great experience. Hopefully we'll have the opportunity to play on your field again.

Thanks again for having us down. Your facility is awesome! I recommended to all our coaches 12u and under to try and squeeze a trip to Lenz Field into their schedules.
Barry has a nice team. He does a great job with the players. Our teams are very comparable. Both games could have gone either way. It was great to get some game speed reps in this early in the year.
Maybe we'll see you again this year.

Our team really enjoyed playing in this past weekend's "Play the Turf" 10U USSSA Qualifying Tournament. The tournament organization was second to none and facilities as always were outstanding. Becasue of the turf, teams are almost assured tournament play no matter the elements.
Congratulations on another great tournament. We look forward to playing in one of your tournaments again.

Tom, What a wonderful facility!!!! Our kids really enjoyed the tournament even thou we did not do so well. The tournament was first class all the way. One of our parents said you have a tournament in May that was not a USSSA open event, one that we could be a lot more competitive in. I heard that there was one more opening, if there is please let us know and our kids would love to play. the Jacksonville Boys won a close one in the championship. They really
played well against us yesterday. Their defense was outstanding. I would
never have thought the weather would shape up as it did yesterday afternoon.
Turned out to be a good afternoon to finish the tournament.

Thanks again for setting up the games for us on your field. We all had a great weekend. My parents asked me if I planed on coming back again next year. You know I do. I will keep an eye on your next years schedule and plan another weekend.
Tell your photographer he has the best action shots at probably the best prices I have seen in my three years of being involved in travel baseball. Both umps were excellent also.

Jeff and I are signing J.T. up for your basketball league (you should be receiving the sign up). We could not come up with enough kids from Ashland for our own team, but J.T.'s cousin Cade Privia is also signing up, so if they could be put on the same team it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again for including all the kids in the surrounding areas in all you are doing for the youth of the Jacksonville community. We really enjoyed playing at your facility and look forward to playing basketball there also.
